Mobile World Congress is finally, officially over, but there’s no time to rest when the Nokia 9 PureView will cost early birds $599 for the first week; after that, the price balloons up to the regular $699.
That might not be a bad deal considering the level of ingenuity that went into these cameras, it’s tough to say whether the Nokia 9 PureView is actually worth the price.
Announced at MWC 2019, the Nokia 9 PureView (reviewed) edges that bit closer to the flagship smartphone we’ve been waiting two long years for from Nokia.
In common with last year’s release of the Nokia 8 Sirocco it presents both highs and lows – an incredible set of five 12Mp lenses at the rear, a 2K screen and an attractively low price, but with it an aging processor and a controversial design.
Nokia 9 PureView Price & Availability
Nokia has confirmed that the Nokia 9 PureView is available to pre-order immediately and will go on sale in March. It will be available in Midnight Blue.
Pricing is set at $699 in the US, and rumours suggest it will come to Europe at €599 though this has not been confirmed. At this price it undercuts today’s top flagships, such as the Galaxy S10, but still has some tough competition from the likes of the Mi 9 and OnePlus 6T.
