The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has announced that he is leaving the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Saraki made the announcement via his official Twitter handle on Tuesday, saying, “I wish to inform Nigerians that, after extensive consultations, I have decided to take my leave of the All Progressives Congress (APC).”

The development is coming less than 8 days after 15 Senators and 37 members of the House of Representatives dumped the APC for other parties.
