Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has commended the tenacity and ambition of Lisha Seleme Dachor, a native of Riyom Local Government Area, for her bold initiative to etch her name in the Guinness World Records.

The 19-year-old Lisha Dachor undertook a challenging three-day marathon to set a new record for the longest continuous painting of artificial nails. The event, which spanned from April 28th to May 1st, 2024, took place at the Tamarald Events Centre in Jos. Governor Mutfwang applauded her efforts and encouraged her to stay determined.

Addressing a gathering of Plateau citizens, predominantly middle-aged women, via Zoom, the Governor extolled Lisha’s bravery and resolve to secure her place in the Guinness World Records.

He highlighted Plateau’s rich history of nurturing exceptional talent, particularly among the youth, across various domains. He proudly recalled that four captains of the Nigerian Super Eagles, along with numerous celebrated music artists, have their roots in Plateau State—a testament to the states’s nurturing environment.

Governor Mutfwang reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to supporting the citizens of Plateau, especially the youth, in realizing their potential and contributing to the state’s progress and prosperity.

He urged people of the state, Nigerians and all people of goodwill around the world to rally behind Lisha and offered prayers for her to receive divine wisdom, courage, and strength to complete her formidable endeavor. Alongside his associates and fellow devoted citizens of Plateau, the Governor expressed his best wishes for Lisha’s success as the challenge draws to a close.
