Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos Commission’s Classroom Block in Jos South LGA

The member representing Jos South/ Jos East in the National Assembly, Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos has commissioned a multi-million naira classroom project in his constituency.

The project which is sited at Bwandang, Jos South LGA which also marked the commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of the Gwom Rwei, HRH, Da Nga Dangyang on the throne.

Introducing the importance of the Project to the mammoth crowd gathered at the event, the Senior Legislative Aide (SLA) to the honourable member, Mr Lang Pwajok, said the project was made possible as a result of a multi-stakeholder approach facilitated at the Universal Basic Education Board by the Honourable member, Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos.

Goodwill messages by various dignitaries who graced the event appreciated the member Hon. Dachung M. Bagos on the quality of representation he has shown so far in the National assemtbly.

In one of the goodwill messages, the Hon. Mella Uban- Zaria, Member representing Baleri/ Balanga Federal Constituency (APC); who was visibly elated by the project, urged the constituents to support the member in order to attract more projects to the constituency.

He emphasized that the representation of Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos was exceptionally phenomenal in the National and hoped the constituents will reciprocate the gesture by making frantic efforts to return Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos if they must continue to attract better representation in the constituency.

Introducing the project, the contracting firm, Shabewa Nig Ltd represented by Alhaji Hamza Umar Usman said: “the multi-million naira project is made possible as a result of Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos’ commitment to attracting the best for his constituency and the people of Plateau State”.

He thanked the community and various members of the community who showed him massive support in accomplishing his tasks.

Responding, Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos said “the enormous tasks of Equipping the Next Generation of Leaders is a deliberate effort of my office to better the life of pupils, students and young people in my constituency and by extension, Plateau State. I am praying that this project will produce Engineers, Legislators, and even the Governor of Plateau state.”

He thanked the community, his colleague from the National Assembly and other dignitaries present and promised to do more to the school the best way he can. He announced to the joy of the constituents that another Classroom Block was ready for commissioning in Jos East LGA.

The highlight of the event was the dedication of the edifice and commissioning of the project by His Royal Highness, Da Nga Dangyang, the Gwom Rwei of Jos South LGA.
