According to NEW, Netflix has allegedly spent about 9 Billion Naira on Nigerian film Makers from 2016 to 2022.
9 Billion! It leads one to wonder how many filmmakers and producers from Northern Nigeria had access to this opportunity or how many films currently on Netflix are produced and directed by professionals domiciled in Northern Nigeria.

2. 9th is a specialized workshop/Strategic Session for professionals and it is free for All.
3. 10 is an award and recognition for those who have made efforts in the industry and those that have supported the industry in any way possible.
The official unveiling of Northern Entertainment Week (NEW) at Bolingo Xperia Hotel in Abuja on the 26th of November, 2022 was, without doubt, a huge success.
