Super Eagles captain and former Leicester City striker Ahmed Musa is now reportedly set to rejoin Nigerian Professional Football League side Kano Pillars this month.

This latest development will come as cheering news for all Nigerian football lovers considering the kind of player Ahmed Musa is.

Since leaving the Saudi Arabian League in October 2022, Ahmed Musa has not gotten another club although he was recently linked with a return to the Premier League.

But there was not deal for him and Ahmed Musa had to return to Nigeria to be with his family.

According to the latest report by ACL Sports, they explained that an unnamed Kano Pillars official revealed that Ahmed Musa would be rejoining them soon.

“Musa has practically agreed to the deal and what is left is just to iron out details of the deal.

“It is practically impossible to get a deal in Europe before May when Super Eagles will reconvene for the World Cup qualifiers and he really wants to keep himself in a competitive shape for that.”

Ahmed Musa is not a new name in Kano considering how he scored 18 League goals for the Sai Masugida in the 2009/10 season.

Musa, who is currently a free agent having left Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr last year, is believed to have not less than N200million worth cars in his garage.

In his post on Friday, January 22, Musa left words of prayers for his followers praying that they are blessed with open doors.

The 28-year-old former Leicester City attacker has also been highly impressive with his charity works across the country.

Having completed two stunning Sports complex in Kano and Kaduna, the winger has revealed his plan to build an international standard school in Jos.

Musa shared his picture where he was dressed in full agbada attire in front of his white Ranger Rover Evoque machine.

The British-manufactured car was flanked by two other expensive rides and there are a few others in the garage.
