Plateau Commissioner Zulfa empowers over 100 women, youths of Langtang North

Plateau State Commissioner for Housing, Barrister Zulfa Rimven, on Tuesday, distributed working tools as empowerment to over 100 women and youths from all the wards of Langtang North local government of the state as a way of boosting their living standard.
He said: “The disbursement is to enable the beneficiaries to start small scale businesses, which will help them cater for their immediate families and reduce hunger.”
He noted that the empowerment tools would reduce suffering among the people.
Zulfa also lauded the good works the Plateau state Governor Simon Lalong is doing in the state.
The Commissioner who thanked the APC members in the local government for their support and loyalty noted that the empowerment programme serves as a cushion to reduce the burden of self-sustainers on the widows, elderly and youths of the council
The Simon Lalong led administration has the best interest of our youths at heart and is determined to empower them.
That is why the APC Government right from the Federal to the States continue to roll out empowerment initiatives that will build the capacity of the youths and make them productive.
The Lalong led government shall continue to engage and dialogue with Youths in enhancing their well-being so as to address restiveness”.
Items distributed by the Commissioner include Motor cycles, Water pump machines, Grinding machines wheelchairs amongst other empowerment tools.
