Residents of Plateau State Assist Gov. In Sharing COVID-19 Palliatives?

Browse By

It looks like the residents of Plateau State are helping the Government to share COVID-19 palliatives meant for them; items that should have been shared months ago but are surprisingly being discovered in a number of states across the federation of Nigeria.

Some might say it could be a strategy to reduce the tension in the country; after almost two weeks of protests in the country.

Some people are calling it looting but in the case of Plateau State, security forces were seen at the warehouse allegedly in some videos passed around on WhatsApp but one wonders if the residents were given permission to go ahead with the sharing, cause they are not being stopped at all.

Residents were sighted carrying bags of stock through the streets of Jos unchecked.
