The third season of The Handmaid’s Tale is officially here, and if that cliffhanger at the end of season two wasn’t enough to keep you invested in the women of Gilead, IDK what would.

Season 2 of The Handmaid’s Tale went out in spectacular fashion, with June deciding to stay in Gilead to rescue Hannah after seeing baby Holly (now Nicole) to safety with the help of Serena(!), Emily, and a host of watchful Marthas. With a myriad of possibilities open for storytelling in Season 3 (welcome to the rebellion, Commander Lawrence), two new additions to the cast, and later release date.

Season 3 will premiere Wednesday, June 5.

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 will debut on June 5 with three brand-new episodes. The following 10 episodes will then premiere weekly.

Hulu renewed The Handmaid’s Tale for a third season back in May 2018, just one week into the show’s Season 2 run.

Here’s how Hulu’s describing the new season:

Season 3 of The Handmaid’s Tale is driven by June’s resistance to the dystopian regime of Gilead and her struggle to strike back against overwhelming odds. Startling reunions, betrayals, and a journey to the terrifying heart of Gilead force all characters to take a stand, guided by one defiant prayer: “Blessed be the fight.”
