President Buhari leaves Daura for Abuja

President Muhammadu Buhari has left his hometown, Daura in Katsina State en route to Abuja following his participation at Saturday, February 23 presidential and national assembly elections.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, Buhari was seen off at a helipad in Daura by the Emir of Daura, Farouk Umar, well-wishers and relations.

President Buhari left Daura at 10 AM today in a presidential helicopter marked NA-541.

NAN also reports that the president is expected back in Daura by next week to enable him to participate in the gubernatorial and state assembly elections slated for March 9, 2019.
