VeeStringx, born Victor Gotus, brings us a refreshing sound that fuses rock and traditional African sounds on his inspiring Christmas EP, The Holy One.

VeeStringx’s journey into the music industry started in 2005 as a band member in his local church. As an instrumentalist during those early days, he never saw himself as an artist in his own right, but a series of encounters and turns of events have brought him to this stage. His conception of music has been significantly influenced by Doug Kazé, Istifanus Yakubu (of Worship 77) and Abeedebee, among other artists working in different genres.

Currently, he is signed to Akanang Records, on whose platform The Holy One EP, his first effort has been released. The EP contains the following songs: “Holy One”, “Unto Us” (featuring Morgan Azi) and “For onto Us a Child Is Born” (featuring Abedebee, Molly and Christabel). Morgan Azi of Future Entertainment and VIC da Whizzle of Extra Sounds Studio worked as producers on the project. He has been working tirelessly on his full-length album planned for release in the first half of 2019.
