Mathew Iliya Dalap (born 7th October), better known by hisstage name VerzE, is a Nigerian hip-hop recording artist. His debut song”CrazE” was released in 2016 and he didn’t drop any other song sinceafter then. He released “REBELation” as his second studio recordingin 2018 on the 17th of August and is back with yet another classic piece titled”RAPEutation”.

Early Life and Music Career-

VerzE was born in Jigawa State, Nigeria. At a tender age, he moved with his family to the city of Jos , Plateau State , Nigeria. While residing in Jos, he attended Government Science and Technical College Bukuru (Butechs).

In 2010, he began writing Rap songs and started performing them at social events held at his school. It was not until 2012 that he began going to recording studios to record. In 2014, he got together with his elder brother “Ill-Konnect” and “Talisman” and formed the renowned group “Pro Boi Nation”. In 2015 he got admitted into the University of Jos to study Computer Science. 2019 stands to be a promising year for the Artist.
