Buhari visits Wounded Troops in Borno State

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in Maiduguri, Borno State, where he is attending the Chief of Army Staff Conference.

Buhari declared the conference open during visit, addressing the officers with the Nigerian Army.

The president also visited wounded troops, writing on his Twitter:

Today in Maiduguri I visited our wounded troops. Across the Northeast we have officers and men fighting bravely and tirelessly to keep our country safe from terrorism and violence. I salute their sacrifice on our behalf. And may the souls of the fallen rest in peace.
