Being one of the rarest events when almost everyone at nHub ditches their normal sweat pants and T-shirts for suit jackets, plain pants and long sleeve T-shirts with no ties; ties would have been literally ground breaking.
nHub version 2 is finally here!
Lunching its new outsourcing center housed within the nHub complex in Jos, Plateau State on the 2nd of May, 2018. Its part of the extension the innovation hub has been undergoing in recent months. The opening of the outsourcing center is also the next phase in the nHub’s growth plans.
Embarking on a journey to sustainability, nHub is furthering its plan of outsourcing tech skills to various tech companies across Nigeria, with an acute focus on foreign based companies. And for the past three years the hub has been painstakingly laying the ground work for the right ecosystem to flourish and reap a bountiful harvest from; with one of its startup Logical Address showing signs of profitability.
nHub continually seems to be in steady supply of talent. In 2016, it signed a strategic partnership deal with German startup community, StartupBonn to trade developer talent with Nigeria.
“As it is right now, we have about 32 remote developers developing for companies within and outside the country, because of this demand we are improving and continuing our fellowship programme to be able to service this demands. This is why we established our tech outsourcing business as another arm of the hub, so that while the hub continues its usual entrepreneurship activities and training, this arm handles the remote hire and onsite demands of most companies coming in on a daily basis,” Founder, David explains.
And as expected the event was graced with presence of top government executives, policy makers and top executives of private companies in Plateau State.
