“I find it hard to believe that Nigerians despite the available indicators are still missing the point of development, this fact has been proven time and time again that PEOPLE are the wealth of a Nation, however you go about it. Yet despite this obvious fact we still refuse to invest in our people, in their education, health and innovativeness.
What scares me the most is the recent report by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, which records that the current world population of 7.6 billion is expected to hit 9.8 billion in 2050 with roughly 83 million people being added to the world’s population every year, the upward trend in population size is expected to continue, even assuming that fertility levels will continue to decline. The new projections include some notable findings at the country level. Among the ten largest countries worldwide, Nigeria is growing the most rapidly. Consequently, the population of Nigeria, currently the world’s 7th largest, is projected to surpass that of the United States and become the third largest country in the world shortly before 2050. What this portends is that whatever problems we have today is likely to double and maybe even triple except urgent steps are taken to address these issues.
I have watched with keen interest, the apparent failure of governance and poor leadership not to mention the lack of infrastructure and a miserly ecosystem that makes business impossible. I don’t intend to join the blame wagon, especially since we are dealing with mostly unrepentant politicians and technocrats. Instead I have chosen together with other great minds to design an intervention system that can harmonize Human Development principles and practice. This will be delivered through learning platforms known as 360 Organics Master Class: 360 Organics is providing an integrated approach to development that includes but is not limited to Personality and Mind development, Capacity building, Special skill sets training for Competitiveness, Mentorship/Mentees appreciation and link up (Networking). At the end of each training session, the participants will be divided into 3 Categories: Seed.com, Shoot.com and Root.com for engagement.
The programme is open to all individuals between 18-50 years.
This is something that is taking a lot from me and my partners (Micro-Reality Thinking Academy and One27 Global Consult) but we are open to support and sponsorship. AKAYIKA Mafeng Ewuga is from Nassarawa State, Nigeria, she bagged a Bachelor Degree in Management Concentration in Social Entrepreneurship in 2009 at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester New York. Other certifications obtained by Akayika includes but is not limited to a Diploma in Strategic Management from the University of York UK, Professional Make up Certifications from the House of Tara and an Internationally renowned Make up expert Bruntrica Bastian. She is currently running a diploma course in Organic Skin Care Formulation.
