Plateau State ushers in the new year spirit as Commissioner for Finance Tamwakat Wali, reaches out to widows and the physically challenged in Kanke local Government.

She pointed out that widows are worthy of God’s blessing, and also as pointed in the bible 1 Timothy 5;3 ‘those who are really widows are to be honored’ she also quoted Rose Bayer in her write up ‘ Biblical view of disability’ that the physically challenged are described as people created, valued and love by God.

She also stated that she is set to promote the culture of sharing and giving out which will go along way to promote total human resources development among Ngas communities and that of being our neighbor’s keeper.   

The Honorable commissioner dimmed it fit to reach out to the widows and the physically challenged to encourage them and have a sense of belonging so that they can live their best in turn also to do all they can to build their own community.

 

 

The secretary of Ngas council of Elders Nde GG Barde appreciated the effort of the Honorable commissioner in reaching out to people in the community he stated “it’s not easy for someone who is at the top to sacrifice so much for her community”, he also adds “the spirit that motivated her is the spirit of God”, quoting James 1;27 “saying the real religion is saving the widow and the needy”.

The CEO Kefiano Autos Kefas Ropshik, appreciates the kind gesture of the commissioner, and supports her with 150 bags of rice. The commissioner shared packs containing foodstuff, clothing materials and other items.
