(Lagos, Nigeria) October 4, 2017 – Bauchi-based event company Empyreal events has announced a national pageant that aims to crown the queen and face of Nigeria called “Miss Empyreal Nigeria”. The grand finale is scheduled to take place in Lagos on the December 17th.
The pageant is open to Nigerian ladies aged 16-30 years and registration is going to take place from October 15th to November 2nd. Auditions will hold in November in 10 cities namely: Bauchi, Jos, Kano, Abuja, Lagos, Benin, Uyo, Port-Harcourt, Calabar and Enugu from which 30 contestants are going to emerge as finalists. The winner of Miss Empyreal Nigeria will leave with the crown as well as 1 million naira, a 3-day all-expense paid trip to Obudu Ranch and a modelling contract that will see her promoted by Empyreal events throughout her reign as queen.
“Miss Empyreal Nigeria is going to be an annual event and it is our intention to make it the biggest pageant in Nigeria and the first edition will be special” said Joash Ojeyokan, the CEO of Empyreal events. “Our aim is to showcase the beauty, diversity, talent and intelligence of the Nigerian woman and also to serve as a platform for ladies with modelling potentials to launch professional modelling careers and by so doing, usher in the next wave of models and supermodels into the Nigerian modelling industry”, he added.
