As part of efforts by Governor Samuel Ortom to bridge the skill and entrepreneurial gap among Benue youths in the areas of information and communication technology and relevant craftmanship towards enterprise development,Benue state Government has entered into partnership with Young Innovators of Nigeria and Nigeria Computer society to organise the 2017 Edition of the Annual Girls Coding workshop titled ” Benue Django Girls 2017″.
Facilitated by the Django Girls of Dublin Ireland and Young Innovators of Nigeria.
The event which is principally targeted towards fostering the entrenchment of technical skills and technology entrepreneurship in areas such as mobile application development, ICT4 environment, ICT 4 agriculture and other selected areas of craftmanship, is to hold between 7th- 11th August 2017. The event is powered by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA)
