A San Diego lady in her late twenties – referred by an agency – is reported by Us Weekly to be Kim and Kanye‘s surrogate, and she is 3 months pregnant.

TMZ had reported that the couple had agreed to pay monthly installments of $4,500 for 10 months and an extra $5,000 for each additional child in case of more than one.

The woman has reportedly served as a surrogate before, and has also appeared in a promotional video about the process with her own family.

Kim’s reported condition Placenta accreta, can be life-threatening when pregnant. It “occurs when the placenta attaches too deep in the uterine wall but it does not penetrate the uterine muscle.”

The baby is expected to arrive around January 2018, and will be Kim and Kanye’s third child, after North (4), and Saint (19 months).
